  • Duct Tape
  • Scissors
  • Gift card or credit card to help measure
  • Ruler

  1. Cut 4 pieces of tape, about 25cm long, and lay them on the work surface, sticky side up
  2. Connect them by overlapping the top edge of one to the bottom edge of the next
  3. Repeat with the remaining two pieces of tape
  4. Now you have a sticky square
  5. Cut another piece, the same length, and press it sticky side to sticky side, against the bottom strip of tape
  6. Continue with 3 more strips until you have a solid sheet made of tape
  7. Use scissors to trim the ends
  8. To create a smooth top and bottom edge cut another strip of tape, this time a little bit longer than your wallet
  9. Tear it in half lengthwise
  10. Place the half strip so that one half of it is under your wallet and fold the tape over
  11. Use the other half strip for the bottom edge
  12. Cut a long strip of tape, about 45cm long, and place it, sticky side up, on the work surface
  13. Cut another piece, the same length as the first, and tape it, sticky side down, onto the other piece (sticky to sticky)
  14. Cut another 45cm length and tear it in half lengthwise
  15. Use half to create a smooth top seam on your long strip of tape the same way you did with your wallet
  16. Use the second half strip to do the other side
  17. Trim the ends
  18. Using a credit card or gift card (I used my library card) as a measuring guide, cut the length of tape into "credit card pockets", leaving about 5mm on each side of the card
  19. Set the card aside and use the first one that you cut to use as a guide and cut three more, for a total of four
  20. Fold the sheet in half to resemble a wallet shape
  21. You will want to make sure that the back part of the wallet is slightly higher than the front so that when it is folded shut, it will look right
  22. Fold it in half the other way to create a bi-fold wallet
  23. This will mark the middle
  24. Open the last fold back up so that it looks like an open wallet, place the four credit card pockets on top
  25. You want them close to the centre but not touching
  26. Cut a piece of tape about 10cm long and tear it in half lengthwise
  27. Starting at the bottom, press the tape up the centre, covering the pockets
  28. Fold the end of the tape over only one layer so you don't tape your money pocket shut! Tuck it inside the wallet
  29. Cut a piece of tape that is a little bit longer than the side of your wallet
  30. Tear it in half lengthwise
  31. Use half on one side to create a smooth seam
  32. Make sure you are covering the edge of the credit card pockets to secure them, and then fold over the edge of the wallet
  33. Trim the edges
  34. Repeat with the other side
  35. You may need to trim the edge of your wallet
  36. Cut another strip of tape the length of your wallet
  37. Tear it in half lengthwise
  38. Create a smooth seam along the bottom of your wallet
  39. Make sure you cover the bottom edges of your credit card pockets
  40. Trim the edges
