    You will need

    • 1.3m Paracord
    • Hair band
    • Lighter / match
    • Scissors

    Instructions

    1. Loop the hair band into two
    2. Half the paracord and loop around
    3. Using a cobra weave
    4. Take the right-hand cord and place across the front
    5. Take the left-hand cord and place over the front of the right, then behind, then through the hair band then pull it out on the right of the hair band
    6. Take the left-hand cord and place over the right
    7. Take the right-hand cord and place over the front of the left, then behind, then through the hair band and pull it out on the left of the hair band
    8. Repeat
    9. You can follow the instructions in the activity video

    Safety

    • Parental supervision is required using the lighter whilst sealing the cord. Both the paracord and the lighter will be hot and could burn. You should also use lighter away from other flammable materials including clothing and hair
