Backwood Experiences - Paper Marbling

  • Shaving foam
  • Food colouring
  • Cocktail sticks
  • Baking tray
  • Tin foil
  • Paper (normal paper)
  • Ruler

  1. Line the baking tray with tin foil
  2. Cover the bottom of the tray with shaving foam
  3. Level off the foam with your ruler
  4. Drip food colouring over the surface
  5. Use a cocktail stick to make a neat patten (don’t over do it)
  6. Lay the paper carefully on the surface
  7. Smooth carefully with your hand
  8. Lift the paper off
  9. Lay the paper down and use the ruler to clean the foam off
  10. Leave to dry
